Peter has successfully mentored companies at NEXEA. He is also an advisor to a large regional F&B player and a Council Member of MBAN (the Malaysian Business Angel Network).

Prior to this, he was an Executive Director at PwC a consulting company and served for 20 years. He then led Ricoh Malaysia as their Managing Director leading the country operations, initiated M&A of the IT business and transformation of business model. He was later Managing Director of Crop Protection a multinational chemical producer and distributor and later Rotiboy a bakery manufacturer and retailer.

His specialism in coaching, past experiences in assisting companies in diverse industries in the consulting space makes him ideal for innovation and leading startups in their growth journey. He is also a tax specialist.

Subash Palaniappan is an independent Consultant to NEXEA. He was an Executive Vice President in Maybank playing a key role in driving innovation for the group. He was driving new ways of work using Agile, Design Thinking and Lean Startup through a customized initiative called Agility@Work.

He was also head of Idea Design for Maybank Innovation, one of the very first banks to set up a dedicated unit for Innovation. As head of Design, he spearheaded innovation projects and over 20 Startup partnerships through programmes like Maybank Fintech (since 2015) and Hackathons.

He is a certified Scrum Master, RPA (robotic process automation), Data Analytics and to top it off, a certificate in Psychology 101.

Prior to assuming his role in Maybank, Subash founded a technology startup and also a graphic design company. He started his career as a consultant with Accenture consulting banks, teleco's and governments in Malaysia, Singapore and the UK. Subash, having graduated with a Computer Science degree is proud to be a techie at heart, always.

Shen Chang is an Independent Consultant to NEXEA. Shen has more than 25 years of brand engagement skills that have been shaped through various international agencies like Ogilvy & Mather, Ted Bates, Batey Ads and Asatsu.

Shen has experience in strategizing and activating communication campaigns for brands like Volve, OCBC Bank, Proton, Guthrie Properties, Electrolux, and Maxis.

Currently, he is the Principle Brand Consultant for The BrandLaureate Awards, a platform that serves as a meeting point for all successful brands and businesses which are stakeholders in their industry.
